So you've got an adult dog and no problems, or in any case you want to focus on dog FUN, that's great! For an adult dog, the key ways to have FUN in life are:
Socializing with other dogs: Overall, adult dogs are much more interested in social interactions than in food. Adult dogs aren't physically growing anymore, so for them food intake is "maintenance", but making canine friends during playtime is FUN.
Dog Games: Adult dogs seem to have most FUN when we, the Pack members, play with the dog: Together-time. No commands (for once), just pure PLAY. The great Pat Miller shows well how to separate between the two, and why. See Play with your dog.
Dog Toys: Whenever we don't play with our dog, and the dog can't socialize with other dogs, and (s)he isn't sleeping or working (on the field or wherever), a dog toy to play alone with can be FUN for the dog. The key is that the dog toy must be able to prevent boredom!
