Chronic Infection

Chronic infection is the persistent or recurring occupation of an organism with bacterial, viral, fungal, protozoal, or parasitic pathogens past the body's defense system that has triggered or caused disease because cure is outstanding.
Chronic infection is possible because
A) the response of the defense system can be intermittent:
- subject to internal or more often external triggers
- subject to how much the defense system is occupied with more acute, more urgent defense needs
- subject to the all too common suppression or palliation of infection by allopathic physicians with immunosuppressants!
- and subject to the all too common blanket treatment and misunderstood "prophylaxis" with "general" antibiotics committed by allopathic physicians!
and because
B) an existing disorder or defect may be triggering renewed infection!
